Since 2017, House of Harris has made a positive impact in the luxury wallpaper and textile industry. Every digitally printed item is designed in-house and manufactured in the United States to ensure a quick turnaround time and exceptional quality. Headquartered in North Carolina, the majority of their business is drawn from the Carolinas and surrounding states, but House of Harris loves to get in front of new designers and communities often to share their story and showcase their line.

The founders of this high-end company are sister designers Charlotte Harris Lucas and Liz Harris Carroll. Owners of interior design firms themselves—Charlotte Lucas Interior Design and Liz Carroll Interiors—their main goal when beginning House of Harris was to create a product that fellow design friends would love to use in their projects and ones that their own clients would want to see in their homes. By listening to feedback, being attentive to their clients’ design visions, and taking into account the holes in the fabric and wallpaper market along with any opportunities to meet those needs, Liz and Charlotte have built a successful company that only continues to grow.

The design aesthetics House of Harris facilitates run the gamut from traditional classics to bold and playful styles. This juxtaposition perfectly reflects the two founders: Liz leans toward traditional aesthetics while Charlotte likes to go bold. By curating their collections, they have crafted a well-rounded selection of designs that are appreciated by designers and clients alike: “We come to the table at House of Harris with the creativity and excitement of a designer, but also with tons of anecdotal evidence from clients about what they are wanting to see/feel/use in their homes.”

Not only does House of Harris have a wide selection of base designs themselves, but they are able to color match and customize their existing designs to the parameters of a specific interior design project. This ability to produce a wallpaper or textile that fits perfectly in any space is of huge value to both designers and clients.
