Darwin Webb established his firm, Darwin Webb Landscape Architects, in 1999 with an emphasis on serving high-end residential clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. After graduating from Washington State University, Darwin went on to work at three of the area’s most prominent firms before establishing his own design firm to serve homeowners and architects throughout the area.
When approached with a new project, Darwin and his talented team of professionals work hard to understand and incorporate the site’s inherent opportunities while minimizing its constraints. Responding to each client’s program, budget, and personality is paramount to a project’s success. Once the client’s vision is understood, Darwin’s firm works hard to incorporate their specific goals and objectives into the design.
For a new, custom-designed, contemporary-styled lakefront home in Medina, WA, Darwin and his team provided comprehensive landscape architecture services for the project. The front entry is simple and welcoming, with a hand carved basalt stone water feature providing the peaceful sound of falling water and a strong, contemplative focal point to the space.
The garden and landscape was carefully designed to complement the home’s contemporary design while providing a variety of outdoor spaces for the active family to gather with friends. As collaboration is a key to every project’s success, Darwin and his team worked closely with the architect, contractors, and artisans throughout the design and construction process to deliver a memorable garden the owners will enjoy for years to come.
