SK Design was built from the ground up upon a foundation of over twenty years of experience in design, remodeling, and exteriors. The talented and artful founder of this full-service interior design firm is Shelly Kramarczuk. Her designs in Las Vegas and across the country are imbued with Shelly’s bright and refreshing organic modern style. The service at SK Design goes far beyond a simple interior plan though. As Shelly explained, “It’s not just about creating a design, but using the latest tools and technology to visualize the ultimate outcome, so that clients take part in the journey of creating a living environment that is unique to them.”
The design process is not all serious though. “Creating a space that is all ‘you’ for each client should be fun,” Shelly told us, and with her curated team of artisans, contractors, and vendor partners, SK Design is perfectly equipped to bring their clients’ design visions to life. For a four-year-old home with an industrial aesthetic, this meant remodeling the whole space to exude an organic modern vibe. Built high in the mountains, the clients wanted their home to feel connected to the natural environment in which it sat. With a 180º view of the Strip and Red Rock Canyon there was a lot of inspiration to draw from.
The entrance of the home invites you inward with sintered stone slabs by Neolith leading to the spacious main room. A Dimplex 100-inch fireplace sends a cozy greeting, providing the space with warmth. Lighting by Hubbardton Forge and Visual Comfort was employed throughout the home, as well as Hunter Douglas solar shades with custom wood valances by PCW Custom Cabinetry & Design. Above the dining table hangs a custom Bocci light with an expanse of over seventy-two inches. The light was a showstopper and favorite feature of the client’s, as was the expansive interior wall rising fourteen feet high and consisting of sixteen jumbo format slabs. This remodel was a feat of high-end design by SK Design, and a gorgeous display of their interior design capabilities.
