Thirty years ago, Fairfield County, CT, witnessed the emergence of Shelley Morris Interiors, a design firm overflowing with fresh creativity. Shelley Morris is the founder of this studio, and she was once a student of the craft of interior design through the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Parsons School of Design, and a variety of classes she took throughout Europe. Now a design consultant, Shelley loves to help her clients develop their personal style. Shelley Morris Interiors also offers high-end, full-service home and room design services.
Shelley views each of her clients as a partner and participant throughout the project. She works very closely with each individual, seeking to discover the elements and aesthetics which would make them most pleased to see in their space. When a client possesses art or some other collection, Shelley takes special care to feature her client’s treasures in the best possible way. When a space is in need of new furnishings or a specific antique, Shelley focuses first on shopping locally, supporting the vendors in her community.
Shelley Morris Interiors is centered around the homeowner. Working on an hourly basis, Shelley’s clients can choose how involved, or uninvolved, they wish to be in the design process. Shelley also refuses to impose herself or her own style on her client’s space. In the end, every client falls in love with Shelley’s work because it is a reflection of their own interests, style, and tastes in comfort.
