When looking for a designer who can execute transitional, soulful, or classic organic styles with brilliance, Rebecca Cartwright is high on the list to contact. With twenty-seven years of experience in the design industry, Rebecca is a seasoned professional with a portfolio of fabulous projects to back her up. Her full-service interior design firm, R. Cartwright Design, serves clients in both Serenbe, Georgia, and the Des Moines metropolitan area in Iowa, and her scope has expanded to vacation homes such as this one in Naples, Florida.
Rebecca’s clients had just purchased a spec home and wanted to personalize their space and make it suitable for entertaining family and friends. “We strive for a personal, organic, minimal, soulful approach to every project,” Rebecca told us, and that’s what the homeowners needed. On the project agenda was elevating the finishes in the kitchen, wine room, and great room, as well as providing personality, color, and layers throughout the home.
“We loved the impact the wallpaper made in this home.” Rebecca shared with us. “It is not as popular to use it on this scale in Florida homes, but the clients loved the texture and design interest it created.” Rebecca and her team also curated original art from local artists to bring character into the spaces. This once nondescript home is now a one of a kind reflection of the homeowners. No other interior design firm could have accomplished what R. Cartwright Design did for this now lovely house.
